The Peregrine Falcon, also known as Falco Peregrinus, is the world's fastest bird and a UK native that has inspired my track. I've been fortunate to see one several times.

During my research on this majestic bird, I discovered the meaning of Peregrinus, which referred to non-citizen foreigners during the early Roman Empire.

The term's Latin translation is "foreigner" or "one from abroad."

Given the unfortunate political climate in Brexit Britain, causing many European-identifying Brits to feel like outsiders and witness their peers lose jobs and homes while being told to "Go back where they came from," it seemed a fitting title for this piece.
